The
morning had come and boy oh boy did I have a plan to get that staff. But
besides this plan, I can’t believe Alexander would hide this from me. I mean if
he knows anything about this staff and these powers I possess, then no matter
what kind of monster or demon he was, I’m still going to kick his sorry behind.
I was
waving goodbye to my parents as they were off to work and them telling me and
Alexander to be ready for tonight. The door closed and now was the time to put
my plan into action, which was to get him out of the house for a little while,
so I could explore his room. I walked around the kitchen taking out ton loads
of ingredients to make a delicious Blueberry Pie cake, but only one thing was
missing “Blueberries”.
“I
need a ton load of blueberries-fresh ones too, in fact maybe even rare if you
can.” I stated.
“Okay,
I know a place, it’s about a 15-minute walk there though.” putting on his short
leather jacket. “What are you making?” he asked. We both walked towards the
door as I opened it.
“A
Blueberry Pie flavored cake. My parents just love the sweets that I bake, but
especially this one. I wanted to surprise them for their upcoming anniversary
tomorrow.” I explained. Okay, so the anniversary was a big lie because that
already had passed, but that was the only excuse I could come up with at the
moment. He nodded and went along his way. I closed the door with an evil grin
thinking: Finally, I can get some
answers.

Going
down the stairs to the basement was easy, but Alexander's door was the hard
part. He had definitely improved on the locks since the last time I came down
here. He had a combo lock this time and I had no time to be guessing, but just
for fun-only this one time because I literally had no time to waste, I decided
to put in my birthday digits. “Let’s see 5...14...2” I mumbled. And to my
surprise it worked. I walked into his very neat room. This totally let me know
he wasn’t human because no guy on Earth has a cleanroom. I rolled my eyes while
walking over to his closet on the right.
I
opened it, but all I saw was his butler-like clothes and shoes-once again
neatly organized. But then a powerful wave hit my head making me feel dizzy, as
both hands started to glow. Then beyond the wall of his closet a tiny glow
began to appear. I pushed the wooden wall and just like that the wall slid
open, and just like that I was looking eye to eye with the Crescent staff. When
I saw it last night the black and white ribbons were floating but this time
they were still as ice. I reach for the staff pulling it out the closet. Then
it began to glow bright, the ribbons floating once more and I could feel my
vision going white. I walked over to a nearby mirror to observe that my vision
wasn’t going white but my eyes were.
“Finally,
we meet at last Crescent Moon.” I heard a faint voice say. I turned around to
see a girl who looked exactly like me. The only difference was she was wearing
a white gown with crescent earrings and silver chain halo.
“Who
are you and why have I’ve been seeing you everywhere I look?” I asked. She
stepped closer and placed a hand on my shoulder. Then suddenly my wardrobe
began to change, now I was wearing a solid white tank top with wavy arm sleeve,
slack like white pants and knee-high black leather boots (over my pants). I
turned to look in the mirror to see my bob like hairstyle was the same, but my
eyes were still white, and I had on black crescent earrings and a silver chain
halo on my head.
“Now
you are fully ready to take my place come this Halloween.” she said.
“What
place? ...and who are you?” I repeated. She giggled with elegance looking like
a true princess.
“I’m
sorry, where are my manners? My name is Ella and for my last name well I don’t
know because they hardly ever gave last name during the 1400s unless you were
royal. Oh, and I am-well was- the Moon Priestess.” she explained.
“The…the moon priestess?” I stuttered.
Chapter 3.2 is next.
