Crescent Moon CH 2.1
Check out chapter 1.1 to read the description of the series.
My
parents were off to their first day of work, which meant me, and Alexander
could have some alone time. Their work outfits were normal just your average
white button-down, black slacks, and bowtie.
“We’ll
see you later, okay.” Mom said. I nodded as they got in the car and left. I
closed the door behind me and seen that Alexander was putting on his leather
short coat. He saw me looking his way and told me “I will be running into town
real quick, to pick up some groceries for the manor.” Perfect timing.
“Mind
if I come with…I mean I kind of don’t want to be alone in this house-I mean
manor right now. And I would also love to see the city too.” I said. He looked
at me for a while I guess he was thinking real hard about this. I gave him a
seductive “Please.”
“Sure.”
he said, smiling. Soon in just maybe eight minutes, we were in the town of N
-sorry, can’t remember the name right now because I’m on a mission. The town well
city was truly beautiful. I thought it would look like the old age city from
that movie Princess and the Frog, but I was so wrong. This city was like an
outdoor mall, just different types of food stand everywhere and you can’t
forget your clothing stores too. Right up the street of this mall were the
traffic and bus stops. I guess Alexander saw me looking and told me that the
buses led up the street to the housing areas and schools and business towers.
“Well
that sounds boring, so I guess that means that the fun is right down here in
the market city!” I said. I could tell he wasn’t listening, instead paying
closer attention to the meats. While he was looking at the meats, I began to
observe him more closely-you know looking for any horns or red hair strains
coming out his head. But there was nothing, he just seemed normal, but I did
notice one thing though and it was this tattoo on his neck, it was a circle
with a crossed star in it. Those stars usually stood for darkness, but lots of
guys have that tattoo, so like I said I got nothing.
I
decided to go walk around and take in the different views. One tall woman gave
me some colorful beads and put them around my neck. Then I ventured on to a
stand that was selling ice cream, it looked so good and moist but of course, I
had no money. Leaving my wallet at home was a bust. I know what you’re still
thinking ‘how the heck do I have money when you lived with a family that
struggled?’ Well that’s easy it’s called saving and I’m talking birthdays,
Christmas, and graduations, and with that I had money for years and years to
come. I noticed a couple of guys staring at me, so I decided to leave, but like
all boys they followed. When they finally caught up to me, I realized they were
both cute, but of course I kept my caution. One guy had light skin with blue
eyes and blonde hair and was quite muscular. While the other guy was tan
colored with a shaved head and brown color eyes.
“Hey,
cutie. You come here often? Names Mike by the way.” said the tan guy.
“My
name Dylan.” said the blonde head. I was irritated with the lame flirt but I
decided just to play along for now.
“Nice
to meet you Mike and Dylan and for your question. No, I don’t come here often,
I’m actually new here.” I responded smirking. “So, you boys want to give me a
tour or what?”
“Sure
thing…um, what’s your name Cutie?” Mike asked.
“Crescent.
Last name not important.” I answered, winking.
“Cute.
Like the moon, right?” Dylan said.
“Yep.”
Mike wrapped his arms around me and so did Dylan. “Geez, what was this Barney or something. Why don’t cha just both kiss
me too” I thought. They began taking me in the opposite direction away from
the market-town. I knew this stupid play so well, that it wasn’t surprising.
“So,
lame.” I mumbled.
“What?”
“I
said…so lame! You guys are so lame, with your stupid tricks on trying to lure
girls. I mean you guys truly are lonely and desperate and that’s so not
cute at all. I’m going to leave now and if you try to stop me. You’ll both have
a nice little meeting with my shank (baton stick)!” I exclaimed annoyed. That’s
right you heard me, I have a shank. I always carried it back in Chicago in my
coat pocket when I had to walk alone at night when hanging with friends. But
this time it was summer and way too hot for a jacket, so I hoped they bought my
play as I slowly walked away. Dylan had grabbed me by my arm and when I turned
to look at him, he and Mike had an evil grin on their face.
“Let
go!”
“No, I
don’t think…” He stopped talking as Alexander appeared out of nowhere, gripping
his arm. Removing it from me.
“Now
is that any way to treat a lady?” he asked with his accent.
“Who
the hell are you?” Dylan questioned annoyed. Still struggling to break his
grasp. Mike tried to break it up but ended up getting caught too. I don’t know
how strong Alexander was but neither one of them could break free. He glared at
them with rage.
“Never
touch mi-lady again. Got it!” he stated. I don’t know if it was the sun but I
could have sworn I seen his eyes glowing red. They nodded in an agreeing motion
like mindless dogs. He released both their arms and they run off running while
screaming “Sorry!”
He
turned to face me as he grabbed my hand. As he pulled me I could feel his body
heat in mine and a slight shaking too.
“Please be more careful around here. These guys here can be such creeps…literally,” he said normally. I blushed a little. While another vision came to me. It was me as a child playing in my neighborhood park and two guys were watching me. But before they could approach a tall figure approached them and they ran like hell. As I looked closer I noticed that that figure was… “Alexander?”
